RAPTURE is a psychological exploration of the universal grief of losing continuity of self.The drama unfolds during a Japanese summer, where sweat, cicadas, and stillness mirror a woman's internal collapse. After 20 years devoted to a high-control religious group, and while navigating life within a foreign culture, Maya begins to experience cracks in her belief system.When she encounters transcripts that expose hidden institutional truths, her internal reality ruptures as she recognises her faith is an illusion.
